Job Description
Swedish Match North America LLC, a rapidly growing consumer packaged goods (CPG) producer and market leader of well-known smokeless tobacco products, nicotine ZYN pouch products, as well as complementary products, is currently seeking a Key Account Manager. This role will focus on personnel and headquarter account management for central northeast Pennsylvania, Maryland, and surrounding markets.
Space and Business Vitals
- Develop, lead and actualize a strategic business plan that will grow operating profits and revenue year to year with his/her assigned customer group. The focus will be against distribution, merchandising execution, identifying region growth opportunities, brand displacement, and category management.
- Manage, coach, and develop a team of Account Sales Managers to achieve volume and growth targets.
- Understand and utilize syndicated data (CRM and consumer) to identify space dimension opportunities. The purpose is to assist the BDM in setting region goals and objectives, develop the sales presentation, and support and assist in the region planning process.
- Manage and allocate local trade and promotional spending budgets with the objective of being aligned to region guidelines.
- Assess and evaluate the business results of his/her assigned customers and recommend strategic change strategies if necessary.

- Microsoft Office and business math skills
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Consumer Packaged Goods
Experience: Minimum five years experience in non-durable consumer goods, including field sales and/or management.
Skills: Persuasive verbal and written communication skills. Accomplished presentation skills. Strong analytical skills. Proficient computer skills with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Category Management System, and industry data systems.

The starting salary range for this position is between $77,000 - $129,500 . This position is eligible to receive an annual incentive based on regional performance.
This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Starting pay will be determined based on an individual’s skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law. These factors could result in a starting pay that is higher than the salary range listed.
