What You'll Do
Join Otto as an Key Account Manager, a key role driving our strategic growth in the veterinary industry. Beyond regular account management, you'll be crucial in developing and executing business plans to propel our products expansion within existing Key Account customers. Key accounts are typically Corporate Veterinary Groups, Universities, and other large scale operations.
Your responsibilities include cultivating client relationships and creating business plans for designated Key Account Groups. We're looking for someone with the foresight to identify growth opportunities and the ambition to set impactful targets. Responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in Key Account Groups.
    • Understand client needs and challenges to position our software solutions effectively.
    • Ensure customers have an amazing experience with our company and our product.
  • Account Planning:
    • Develop comprehensive business plans for each Key Account Group, outlining growth goals, expansion opportunities, and specific sales targets.
    • Work cross functionally with our Customer Success, Implementation, and Sales teams to ensure account plans are executed successfully.
    • Generate progress reports for clients and senior leaders within the organization
  • Business Development:
    • Work closely with existing Key Account customers to identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
    • Develop strategies to expand our product adoption within current client accounts.
    • Identify upsell opportunities within current corporate group customers.
    • Be responsible for developing new leads, communicating with customers, understanding their needs, and ensuring a smooth sales process for our software as a service portfolio
    • Consistently achieve your sales targets
  • Product Knowledge:
    • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and our product offerings to effectively communicate the value proposition to clients.
    • Provide product demonstrations and training sessions as needed for Key Account customers.

Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 3 years in account management or sales roles, preferably within the veterinary or healthcare industry and with a SaaS company. Must have experience in sales and history of consistently achieving sales targets.
Communication Skills:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex solutions clearly.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration and consultation, developing good working relationships with other teams.
  • Proficiency with Google Suite and Salesforce is a must

  • Someone who is independent and capable of handling ambiguity.
  • Ability to pursue a structured, analytical and solution-oriented sales approach, combined with a high degree of enthusiasm to meet challenging sales targets.
  • Ability to perform and deliver multiple, concurrent projects on time.

Relationship Building:
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships.

Education:
  • MBA preferred
