We are an established (Since 2007) and still rapidly growing dog training business looking for hard working, honest, self motivated people to assist in the care of our customer's pets. We have part-time positions available with extremely flexible hours and full-time positions with many opportunities for advancement!
Our flexible schedule includes the ability to work anywhere from three hour to five hour to full-time shifts. Starting at 7am OR closing to 6:30pm.
For current students: You will not be held hostage to weekly schedule changes. Our schedules remain consistent. You will have the ability to work more hours when you have time off for holidays or between semesters.
Duties will be, but not limited to:
- Provide excellent customer service to pet owners and visitors
- Feed, water, and exercise animals according to their specific needs
- Monitor the health and behavior of animals and report any concerns to the supervisor
- Assist with grooming tasks such as bathing, brushing, and nail trimming
- Maintain accurate records of animal care and treatment
- Transporting dogs (to and from their home, groomer, vet, etc...)
- Cleaning, sanitizing, maintaining dog kennel area
- Cleaning, sanitizing, maintaining outside play yards
- Rotating dogs in play groups while keeping a fun, safe environment
Physical demands:
* Must be able to control dogs that may weigh 100+ lbs during walks
* Must be able to control dogs that may weigh 100+ lbs going through doors
* Must be able to lift & carry 50lb food bags
* Climb ladder for cleaning
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
**Although you'll never be asked to handle a dog you do not feel comfortable handling, keep in mind, these dogs are here for a reason. Half of them are cute little pups and half are here because they're too big, out of control, or unruly to go other places.
Prior dog/animal experience is preferred, but not required. You will be trained by experienced dog people.
Honest, prompt, hard-worker, fast-learning, and driven to take advantage of advancement opportunities are our ideal candidates.
Current Driver's License and dependable transportation will be required
Background Check will be run on candidate
Must be able to work most weekends and most holidays. Summer and holidays are our busiest times!
Must live in New Braunfels, San Marcos, Wimberley or surrounding area
