Job description

• Assess, assist and encourage members in the learning process.
• Review schoolwork, expand content mastery and develop academic and study skills of Club members.
• Improve learning processes unique to the specific needs of individual youth.
• Motivate members through recognition, sense of belonging, supportive relationships, and opportunities and expectations.
• Create occasional progress reports.

REQUIREMENTS

• Value diversity and work well with youth from different backgrounds.
• Able to work independently and in small group settings.
• Demonstrated mastery of academic content being covered with youth.
• Proactive communication with Education Director and Program Staff
• Abide by all Club member safety policies.
• Must pass criminal background check and drug screen.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $16.00 per hour

• Hendersonville, NC 28792: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
