We are seeking a full time Juvenile Electronic Monitoring Technician at our Operations Office in Omaha, NE. Staff in this position are responsible for case management of court & probation ordered juvenile participants, including but not limited to, scheduling client appointments, client orientation, reporting, installation and removal of Electronic Monitoring devices, regular maintenance of the technology, and administrative responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be a tech savvy person who has a genuine passion for providing exceptional customer service with a positive attitude and will be extremely well organized, detail oriented and have an upbeat and friendly demeanor.
This job requires overnight, weekend, and holiday work with rotating schedules
Responsibilities include:
- Scheduling appointments with our juvenile clients both in office remotely
- Fitting juvenile clients with monitoring devices (GPS, House Arrest, Alcohol Monitoring) both in office and off site
- Case management of clients
- Communication with clients and supervising authorities
- Daily reporting of client compliance
- Cleaning & maintenance of monitoring equipment
- Performing other related duties as required and assigned.
- Evening, overnight, and weekend work is required
Qualifications:
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- Outstanding organizational, problem solving, and multi-tasking tasking abilities are necessary.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, to include Word, Outlook and Excel. Expertise in other commonly used programs such as Adobe PDF, SharePoint, etc. is a plus.
- Must demonstrate a strong ability to prioritize work, balance the needs of various individuals, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Must have a high level of interpersonal skills and the ability to appropriately handle sensitive and confidential information and resolve situations is essential.
- A valid Driver's License is required
- Ability to speak and read Spanish is a plus.
Must be able to pass background and DMV checks with no alcohol related offenses
