Duties & Responsibilities:
Under general supervision, support the NAVSEA Navy ERP business office in supporting operations in order for the system to meet the ongoing Navy business operations requirements. Specific tasks include:
- Performs routine tasks related to help desk support. Coordinate with functional subject matter experts to resolve end user issues.
- Supports master data management.
- Assists in generating reporting and analyzing data.
- Collects information, communicates requirements, and collates the results.
- Tracks deadlines and reports on project status.
- Assist with analyzing reports, providing feedback on recommendations for changes, and prepares desk guides with detailed instructions on how to pull data.
- Compiles metrics by pulling data from systems and compiling graphical representation of summarized data. Will use Excel functionality at intermediate level to manipulate data.
- Analyze and prepare documentation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve end user issues, open and close tickets as required.
Qualifications:
- Two (2) years of Navy business system experience.
- Secret Clearance. Candidate selected will be subject to a Government background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. A FINAL Secret adjudicated clearance is required to start.
- Must have intermediate Excel knowledge to be able to support generating reports and manipulating data to include information from several documents into one resource.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must work well independently; have the ability to interface with customers in senior/executive level positions.
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills and must provide customer service both internally and externally.
- Familiarity with help desk systems such as the National Help Desk Service Manager (NHDSM) or similar is desirable.
- Ability to compose business appropriate emails, basic business knowledge and able to interact with internal and external customers professionally.
- Ability to resolve complex problems with supervision.
Education Requirements:
- Associates Degree
- High School Diploma may be substituted for Degree with an additional two (2) years of relevant experience.
