Junior Trader

Description

The Junior trader will be responsible for assisting in the management of investment portfolios and providing support to our senior trade supervisor. Your duties will include:

- Conducting financial analysis and trade rebalances on existing accounts
- Assisting in the development and implementation of investment strategies
- Monitoring portfolio allocation and account maintenence request
- Assisting with the preparation of portfolio screens
- Collaborating with other team members to ensure effective portfolio management
- Staying up-to-date with market trends, economic developments, and regulatory changes

To succeed in this role, you should possess the following skills:

- Strong knowledge of financial services and asset management principles
- Familiarity with securities law and regulations
- Proficiency in financial analysis techniques and tools
- Solid understanding of financial concepts and calculations
- Strong mathematical skills for analyzing investment performance and making projections
Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain reporting systems, dashboards and workflows
• Data sourcing, scrubbing, and database management
• Analyze data for trends, patterns, and discrepancies
• Develop reconciliation and verification systems to audit internal and external reports.
• Identify trends and develop forecasts

Requirements:

• Basic Excel skills.
• Desire to develop new skills and obtain additional certifications as needed.
