Junior Sales Specialist

Scribble Software, a growing and leading provider of management software, seeks a professional, motivated, Junior Sales Specialist to work with our Public Relations and Customer Conversion Team who loves to learn and take the initiative with the potential to grow into a high-performing salesperson.
The Junior Sales Specialist will provide support for sales for contract creation, processing, and post-sale customer onboarding. We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented professional who can quickly absorb and retain product knowledge, learn how our products work, and work well with other departments to troubleshoot issues for customers. Salary: Base Salary
Primary Duties and General Responsibilities:
Leads – Researching, Verifying and Assigning
- Monitors, Investigates, and Assigns New Lead Requests on the day they are received
- Researches leads and verifies, calling lead if necessary to verify
- Contacts leads by email and phone and gathers information on them as needed
- Assigns leads to Sales Team members
- Monitors Leads
- Ensures Lead and Account information is correct in Salesforce
Conferences
- Ensures all Conference arrangements and details are made
- Handles conference signups, fees, arrangements
- Makes travel arrangements for conferences
- Creates and monitors conference campaigns in Salesforce
- Represent Scribble Software at industry conferences in a professional manner, as a knowledgeable representative of the company
Advertising, Marketing & Campaigns
- Works with Executive Management on Advertising and Campaigns, as needed
- Creates and monitors advertising campaigns in Salesforce
- Responsible for managing all marketing & advertisement deadlines
- Keep Scribble Software President informed on any upcoming artwork due dates and new guidelines
Salesforce & QuickBooks
- Ensures sales data is correct in QuickBooks and Salesforce, including but not limited to Accounts, Contacts, Leads, Assets, Opportunities, Invoices and other data in QuickBooks
- Reviews all sales invoices for accuracy and communicates any issues to the sales person and team immediately
- Process new contracts and invoices
- Know and follow all Scribble Software procedures regarding Salesforce, QuickBooks, and other tools
- Log calls, document activity, use memorized transactions, etc.
- Create estimates/contracts and invoices
- Create Opportunities in Salesforce and document all activities related to Opportunities.
- Keep prospect, customer, account, and activity information well documented and current
- Tracks and manages assets
Customer Sales
- Follow-up with customers for continuous needs analysis and growth, offering advice on additional products and services, providing demonstrations and proposals for the same
- Respond to current customers’ requests for additional services and products.
- Create proposals for software products, services, upgrades, hardware, and maintenance
- Ensure the sales process is going smoothly by evaluating and following up with customers consistently on an ongoing basis
- Be a professional resource for customers to receive guidance on the best products and services to meet their needs
- Be a team player. Ask questions, offer suggestions, and keep the team apprised of current tasks/accounts, recommendations, and ideas
Individual Ongoing Education and Growth
- Every Future Market’s Team member is responsible for constantly updating job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations, studying the market, the competition, and sales methodologies.
- Research and be well-acquainted with our competitors and how Scribble beats the competition.
Hours: 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM In Office
Reports to: Public Relations and Customer Conversion Manager
Requires knowledge and previous experience of:
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, Salesforce, QuickBooks, and all Scribble products
- Administrative and accounting experience
- Attention to detail
- Knowledge of market and competition in the market
- Marketing experience a plus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organization skills
- Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty
- Excellent customer service skills
- Time management and planning skills
- Ability to work with all levels of management
- Ability to run and review reports
- To excel in this role, you should be an active listener, have a compelling sales personality, and a hunger to chase and close new business from cold calls to inbound warm leads
- Continuously seeking to learn, through studying training materials at Scribble Software and sales books, courses, videos, and materials
- Solid experience in selling and closing sales, proven sales track record
- IT knowledge and fluency
