Job Description
Main Purpose of the role:
Contribute by qualifying sales leads to increase book of business for the US Sales organization.
Major areas of responsibility:
Contacting potential or new customers about ZIM services and pass to other Sales departments to manage.
Main Tasks:
Perform outbound calls to potential and new customers
Qualify customers' sales potential and pass to next stage in Sales cycle (Outside or Inside Sales) to onboard and manage customers
Analyze relevant customer leads list for targeted sales campaigns and build a work plan to increase sales
Communicate closely with trade and cross-functional teams on market intelligence, service updates, customer challenges and opportunities
Maintain Sales outreach information on Leads to pass to Outside or Inside Sales, and record all customer outreach in Sales system
Identify and pursue opportunities in new markets
Enter and update customer information in CRM system

Requirements:
•Four year college or university program certificate preferred
•1 to 2 years tele-sales and or sales experience in the ocean shipping or related industry.
