The anticipated salary range for this role is between $80,000.00 and $100,000.00. The specific salary offered to an applicant will be based on their individual qualifications, experiences, and an analysis of the current compensation paid in their geography and the market for similar roles at the time of hire. The role may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive award. In addition to cash compensation, SMBC offers a competitive portfolio of benefits to its employees.

Role Description
Develop relationship with existing and prospective clients to expand mainly depositary business and contribute to the growth of the portfolio by originating business with clients. Provide administrative support to RMs and Management.
Role Objectives
- Promote mainly CMS and depositary business to small-to-medium-sized enterprises
- Responsible for a portfolio of client relationships
- Effectively manage client relationships to meet revenue targets
- Responsible for all transactions from origination to closing
- Prepare account related documents
- Responsible for KYC/KPR process
- Prepare presentation materials
- Provide administrative support to RMs and Managements
- Closely collaborate with colleagues and other department
- Keep customer profiles up to date
Qualifications and Skills
- General Knowledge of Banking Business
- Strong Communication Skills (verbal and written) in both Japanese and English
- Experience as a Relationship Manager in other banks (preferred)
- Well-organized, Skilled at Multi-tasking
