Job description

AvantGarde, LLC (AG) seeks to engage a Junior Human Capital Analyst who supports consultants in the design, implementation, and evaluation of a wide array of strategic Human Capital programs and processes by conducting basic research; organizing non-complex sets of data; updating, collecting, tracking, and monitoring data; conducting data analysis and interpretation; assisting in the creation and review of documents; attending internal team and client meetings; and recording meeting, interview, and focus group notes. This support is provided in projects across the Human Capital life cycle, including but not limited to strategic and workforce planning, hiring and recruiting, training and development, and employee engagement and change management.  

 

The WORK

  • Assist in the review, analysis, and organization of client data; enter data into relevant databases, tools, trackers, and applications.
  • Assist in the compilation of findings and the process of developing recommendations with the project team.
  • Conduct basic research to contribute to the team’s evaluation and recommendations of client Human Capital programs and processes.
  • Assist in developing report and presentation templates, reports, documents, presentation materials, and content with guidance from the team; incorporate team and client feedback.
  • Organize and update data to meet client deliverables.
  • Track, organize, and coordinate key meetings, training sessions, and scheduled activities, including coordinating client logistics.
  • Provide communication assistance for client deliverables, including quality assurance (QA) reviews and initial drafts of client communications.
  • Attend client and team meetings and training sessions to take notes, write up action items, and track project progress for use by the project team.
  • Support training programs by coordinating and tracking invitations, registration, and attendance;  creating and issuing certificates; developing, compiling, and analyzing course evaluations; and supporting the training team.
  • Assist in providing grammar and completeness quality assurance for working and final draft documents.
  • Schedule and prepare for focus groups and interviews, gather background documentation, and interact with agency employees and managers.
  • Maintain project files in SharePoint.
