Junior Graphic Designer
Job Summary
As a Junior Graphic Designer ProSites, you will work closely with the Senior Graphic Designer to create compelling visual assets that engage our target audience and convey our brand's message effectively. As a Junior Graphic Designer, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to a wide range of projects, from digital and print marketing materials to web design and social media graphics.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Senior Graphic Designer to conceptualize and create visually stunning designs for a variety of marketing materials.
- Assist in the development of design concepts, layouts, and visuals for digital and print collateral, including product launches, advertisements, social media graphics, and multi-faceted marketing campaigns.
- Work on website updates and support, ensuring a seamless user experience and visually appealing website elements.
- Help maintain and evolve our multiple brand identities, ensuring consistency across all design assets.
- Stay up-to-date with design trends, tools, and software to continuously improve design quality and creativity.
- Participate in team brainstorming sessions and contribute fresh ideas and concepts to marketing campaigns.
- Support in the creation and editing of multimedia content, including video and device animation.
Key Skills, Knowledge, and Qualifications:
- Diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). (0-2 years’ experience)
- Strong proficiency in graphic design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).
- A portfolio showcasing your design work and creativity.
- Basic understanding of web design principles and the ability to work with tools such as WordPress, Adobe XD, or Figma.
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong sense of typography, color, composition, and design fundamentals.
- Effective time management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Enthusiasm for technology and a passion for staying current with industry trends.
Physical/Mental Requirements for the Job:
- Prolonged periods of sedentary movement.
- May be requested to work overtime and weekends if deemed necessary.
- Must be able to lift at least 20 pounds.
Certain management positions might be required to occasionally travel.
