Position Title: Junior Full Stack Software Developer

This position is ideal for someone excited to be part of a growing company and a small, well-rounded IT Team. The right candidate will enjoy learning many aspects of the business, digging in to maintain and enhance current systems and offering suggestions for improvement. After an initial orientation period of getting to know the company and the team, this position may work from home up to three (3) days per week.
Position Purpose:
Take ownership of programmatic requests related to existing and new Silco systems.
Major Duties andResponsibilities
  • Build new solutions with one or more of ASP.NET, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, .NET/C# and SQL Server and maintain existing applications and business processes.
  • Collaborating with the Business Analyst and CIO to validate business requirements and key considerations (security, scalability, limits, budget).
  • Ensure applications work across different devices and web browsers.
  • Develop and maintain databases, including optimizing database queries.
  • Integrate third-party APIs and services to enhance the functionality of web-based applications.
  • Ensure seamless data flow and communication between different services and components.
  • Use version control systems to manage and track changes in the codebase.
  • Establish data validation rules and ensure data is structured correctly to support reporting and analytics.
  • Design and develop custom reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights for decision makers.
  • Define and validate appropriate testing for all development efforts.
  • Provide system maintenance including security reviews, release updates, health checks, etc.
  • Provide level 3 help desk support for applications as needed.
  • Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree or related experience.
  • 3+ years hand on experience with C#, MVS, HTML/JavaScript/CSS for designing and developing applications, UI, interfaces and web services.
  • Have .NET 6 Experience or above.
  • Strong SQL database experience.
  • Fundamental understanding of object-oriented concepts and design patterns.
  • Knowledge and/or experience, Microsoft Office, SharePoint, PowerBI, MS SQL Server using SSRS and SSIS, IIS servers.
Desirable:
  • Experience with cloud platforms, especially Azure.
  • Have Blazor experience.
  • Design and develop custom applications for iOS, Android, Windows and the web is a plus.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices.
  • Familiarity with Excel.
  • Understanding of mobile development principles.
  • Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Revenue Cloud and/or Field Service modules a plus.
