We are seeking a passionate and skilled Junior Full Stack Engineer to join our dynamic startup team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on both backend and frontend projects, taking ownership of entire projects from inception to completion. Reporting directly to the CTO, you will play a key role in developing innovative solutions that drive our business forward.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement backend and frontend solutions for various projects.
- Work with Python and Django to create high-quality, maintainable code.
- Leverage AWS for cloud-based solutions and infrastructure management.
- Utilize JavaScript, preferably React JS, to develop engaging user interfaces.
- Collaborate with team members to ideate and innovate on project requirements.
- Take full ownership of projects, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills.
- Participate actively in team meetings and contribute to a positive team environment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Python development, Django experience preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of experience with AWS.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, with React JS experience being an added advantage.
- Solid understanding of Git and version control practices.
- Previous experience working in a small startup environment.
- Strong ability to work independently as a self-starter, with excellent motivation and self-management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team, exhibiting strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
