The Business Intelligence Developer role will help shape the direction of the use of data in the City; create reporting and analytics; and provide decision makers with actionable data. This position collaborates with business partners across the City to collect requirements and identify the key performance indicators necessary to create meaningful data visualizations business partners will leverage to manage the City of Saint Paul.
Primary responsibilities:
Plan, implement and maintain reports, analytics, data extracts, and ad hoc analysis.
Develop reporting frameworks and deliverables.
Design processes related to data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
Consult with business partners to define and develop data-driven solutions.
Provide training and capacity-building support to business partners.
Assist with planning, maintenance and updates to the City's Open Information portal.
Create and maintain documentation related to team services.
Develop reporting frameworks and reporting deliverables using tools and languages like SQL, Power BI, and Qlik Sense or equivalent.
