Summary:
The Junior Asset Integrity Engineer will support Certarus' fleetwide integrity inspection execution, data analysis/management and asset deficiency tracking. The position will report to the Asset Integrity Senior Manager and will be based primarily in either the Calgary or Houston corporate office, with travel to Canada and US field locations.
Schedule:
- This position holds normal business hours, with 15-25% travel expected.
- We support a hybrid work environment consisting of flexible remote and in-person collaboration at our office and field locations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support fleetwide integrity workflow definition, development, implementation, and standardization.
- Capable of processing and analyzing inspection information:
- Pre-review of vendor data for validation and acceptance
- Inspection data coding/processing and review
- Deficiency identification and tracking management
- Corrective action review and validation
- Support Inspection data management system (IDMS) evergreening to capture equipment commissioning, retrofits, and key inspection results.
- Support inspection planning and execution:
- Scope of work creation (circuitization)
- Inspection package creation
- Third-party inspector coordination
- Support operations and maintenance teams with onsite execution of compressor, PRS and facility level integrity inspections
- Support the build out and implementation of the equipment tracking program - work with operations to validate proper ID creation, tagging, recertification, and reporting.
- Work with Certarus contracted chief inspector to maintain pressure vessel registration with ABSA. Ensure new build/purchased equipment maintains CRN registrations (where applicable).
- Support the integrity team's interfaces with regional operating hubs.
- Support performance management through implementation, measurement and analysis of relevant KPI's to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in management preferred or equivalent relevant post-secondary technical training.
- 5+ years experience managing projects in a service, EPC or manufacturing environment.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is an asset.
- Experience in industrial gas industry is an asset.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with excellent organizational skills.
- Strong risk identification and mitigation methodology.
- Team player with problem solving ability, business acumen, effective time management and organizational skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to establish long lasting relationships with internal and external customers.
