Responsibilities:

• Assist the Executive Chef with managing the Back of the House staff
• Plan and direct food presentation on the plate
• Keep the kitchen staff focused and on task
• Train new chefs and create work schedules
• Ensure all food is of the highest quality and meets our standards
• Maintain and troubleshoot kitchen equipment
• Enforce restaurant policies and take appropriate disciplinary action
• Delegate duties during downtime
• Manage inventory, product rotation, and menu tasting
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a Sous Chef or similar role
• Passion for culinary excellence and creativity
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Knowledge of safety and sanitation regulations
