Jr. Pricing Analyst

Building Material Distributors, Inc. is currently seeking a Jr. Pricing Analyst for our Corporate Accounting department.

This is a hourly position, pay ranges between $20.00-$24.00 per hour.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze daily sales invoice history to determine the ideal target customer pricing to drive profitability.
• Resolve pricing discrepancies by trouble shooting reasons for exceptions and take proper actions to eliminate reoccurrences.
• Provide thorough analytical breakdowns of pricing structures and identify strategic methods to improve pricing models. Communicate findings effectively to relevant departments of the company.
• Analyze sales and margin trends utilizing Excel, Business Intelligence, ERP systems, and queries to offer support to the Sales and Category Managers to drive profitability.
• Scope out opportunities based on market trends.
• Create ad-hoc sales and margin reports as requested by the Department Manager, Sales Managers,
• Work with the sales and marketing team to define pricing structure for company products.
• Address issues and concerns raised by team members relating to pricing suggestions
• Analyze job duty processes with the goal of creating greater efficiencies.
• Draft strategic pricing plans and processes to improve existing projects
• Assist with miscellaneous pricing projects
• Assist with special projects as directed by the department manager
• Performs additional duties as required and requested.
