What You'll Do:

An IT Technician, or IT Support Technician, is responsible for maintaining computer systems and other technologies in a business setting. Their duties include working with other IT Technicians to install hardware and troubleshoot computer issues, responding to IT questions from company employees and updating malware protection devices to prevent viruses or computer hacking.  IT Technicians aim to keep the technology of their company in good working order and accessible to customers and staff.  They also work closely with their team, ensuring each situation is thoroughly resolved and all components are in working order.

Velocity Vehicle Group (VVG) is seeking an IT Technician to join our team in Whittier, Fontana & Carson, CA!  This job is full-time.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoots computer problems, printers, phones, networks, hardware or software
• Installs and connects computers
• Sets up and reconfiguring computers, mobile devices, printers, credit card machines, etc.,
• Purchases supplies (i.e. toner, cartridges for printers, computer accessories)
• Maintains inventory of the equipment issued to departments and branches
• Disposes of old inventory and equipment
• Trains users on new software
• Works on special projects such as setting up backup systems
• Assigns new email addresses
• Ensures all licenses are updated and renewed
• Ensures network security

Qualifications:

• College degree, or certification in related areas
• Proficient with Windows OS, and familiar with Android, iOS, and Mac OS
• PC hardware knowledge
• Organized and methodic
• Tasks oriented
• Able and willing to travel to assist in different locations across CA and NV 
• Willing to work long hours and weekends, on demand or during emergencies
• Minimum of one years working experience preferred

Compensation:

• Hourly: $22-$23
• Non-Exempt
