ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Installs and repairs all types of pipes and pipe fittings in all sections of the plant, offices, and on machinery.
2. Works on high and low pressure systems.
3. Makes new installations requiring complex layout and accurate measurements.
4. Works from complex drawings, blueprints, and written specifications. Makes standard shop computations relating to pressures, flow and size of pipe required.
5. Proficient in the use of hand tools and power-driven machines to bend pipe.
6. Installs hard and soft tubing and plastic pipe; installs fixtures, repairs valves and regulators and performs other general plumbing work.
7. Performs all work necessary to complete an installation - assembly, cutting openings in walls, floors and ceilings, installing pipe hangars and pipe coverings, fastening pipe to hangars, caulking joints.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Keeps work area clean.
2. Performs other jobs as assigned by Supervisor.
3. Knows and complies with plant safety rules.

These considerations can cause offered compensation to vary. The hiring range for this position is typically $29.73-31.53 hourly. Actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.
