We are currently seeking highly motivated applicants for a Journeyman Instrumentation Technician in the Instrumentation Department of our Power Production Division located at the New Madrid Power Plant in Marston, MO.
This position maintains all instrument controls and controls drives as well as performing tasks such as: adjusting control loops, troubleshooting, calibration; and repairing, installing, modifying, and cleaning instrumentation and control drives.
Instrumentation includes, but not limited to, all pneumatic, electronic, and electrical control systems for measuring and/or controlling pressure flow, temperature, weight, gas analysis, and water quality.
Applicants must be able to read and interpret control diagrams, schematics, blueprints, and operating instructions for all types of instrument control systems and control drives. They must know the operation of all systems to understand their controls and to perform tests. As well as, have complete knowledge of interlock schemes for the control systems.
Applicants must possess a high school diploma or GED. They must possess three years post-secondary electronics school or equivalent training which must include basic computer systems as well as have a minimum of four years' work experience in electronics and instrumentation.
