Journeyman Electrician

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Journeyperson Electrician to join our team. As a Journeyperson Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in various settings. Your expertise in 120/240v power distribution, blueprint reading, and electrical work will be essential to ensure the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems.

Duties:
- Install, maintain, and repair residential electrical systems
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout and wiring of electrical systems
- Perform electrical installations according to the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and identify the root cause of problems
- Use hand tools and power tools to complete electrical projects
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Provide guidance and mentorship to apprentices when necessary

Requirements:
- Valid Journeyperson Electrician license or 3+ year experience working for residential electrical contractor.
- Proven experience as a Journeyperson Electrician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Ability to build, renovate, and repair electrical systems
- Familiarity with low voltage systems is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
