Responsibilities:
- Safety first! Need a working knowledge of NFPA 70E. Will be required to obtain and maintain NFPA 70E Certification. Training can be provided by the company.
- Operate various types of equipment such as scissor lifts, man-lifts, articulating boom lifts, etc.
- Install and repair electrical wiring, equipment, devices, and fixtures in accordance with NFPA 70.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems under 1000V.
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member.
- Drive company vehicles safely and follow local traffic laws.
- Communicate with customers, contractors, and officials clearly and professionally.
- Clean and professional appearance while at work.
Qualifications:
- A clean NJ driver's license is an absolute must.
- A New Jersey Journeyman license is preferred but is not required.
- Knowledge of the National Electrical Code.
- NFPA 70E Certification.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30.
- High school diploma or GED minimum, college or trade school a bonus.
Requirements:
- Physically capable of working on your feet for 8 hours or more.
- Physically capable of working in attics and crawl spaces.
- Capable of working at heights of up to 50 feet.
- Ability to bend, crawl, climb, and lift at least 50 lbs.
- Ability to work outside in hot, cold, and inclement weather conditions.
Just Electrical, LLC is based out of the Fords section of Woodbridge Township, but job locations will vary throughout the State of New Jersey. Travel time to and from the job site from Fords is included in the working hours. The typical schedule is M-F from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. but occasional overnights and early mornings are required. Additional compensation is available for off-hours work.
