LEAD ELECTRICIANS experienced in industrial trouble shooting, maintenance, and installation.

Must have experience bending and threading rigid conduit, wiring motor controls, and hazardous location wiring.

Must have good knowledge of NEC & able to be part of a team or work alone with minimal supervision. Reliability.

Job Description: As a Licensed Lead Industrial Journeyman Electrician, you will play a crucial role in overseeing electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs in industrial settings. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring compliance with electrical codes, standards, and regulations while maintaining a high standard of safety and quality.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise a team of electricians in executing industrial electrical projects.
• Plan and coordinate electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs according to project requirements.
• Interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout and configuration of electrical systems.
• Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical components, equipment, and systems, including motors, generators, and control panels.
• Conduct inspections and tests to identify and resolve electrical issues, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures, including lockout/tagout, PPE usage, and equipment operation.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project deadlines and objectives are met.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior electricians, promoting skill development and knowledge transfer.

Requirements:

• New Jersey State Licensed Journeyman Electrician with Industrial endorsement.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial electrical work, with a proven track record of leadership and project management.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and regulations, particularly as they pertain to industrial environments.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve electrical issues efficiently.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience supervising and delegating tasks to a team of electricians.
• Commitment to safety, with a thorough understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients.
• Valid and clean driver's license and reliable transportation.
