Journeyman Electrician

Johnny B Electric is a long time business with multiple projects across the state of Texas.

We are looking for a Licensed Journeyman Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in all aspects of electrical work, including installation, maintenance, and repair. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety of the electrical systems, as well as troubleshooting and repairing any issues that arise. The Journeyperson Electrician must also be able to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematics in order to complete their work.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment.
• Read blueprints and technical diagrams.
• Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes.
• Troubleshoot electrical problems.
• Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair.
• Install ground leads and connect power cables to equipment such as motors.
• Use a variety of tools and equipment such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, and testing equipment.
• Must have current TDLR License.
• Must be able to pass a drug test.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $72,066.00 - $77,225.00 per year

• Up to 25% travel
