Job Description

The Unconventional is seeking a Joint Operations & Intelligent Integration Officer to support the DoD, Interagency, and Country Team with operational effectiveness throughout the INDOPACOM AOR.
  • Serve as a SME and advisor on a unique, multidiscipline team assisting SOCPAC SOJ35 Future Operations (FUOPS) and SOJ3X Special Program Divisions
  • Conduct multidiscipline research, production, and assessment to deliver informed operational focused recommendations for COA development and CONOP production
  • Assist SOJ35, SOJ2 and SOJX Directorate, Branch and Divisions in developing, managing and assessment of Targeting
  • Assist SOCPAC collection manager with collection plan generation and effects assessments
  • Increase situational awareness through discovery characterization of threats; identification of critical nodes; isolation of associated gaps; and fusion of data sets to broker and enable full spectrum SOF operations
  • Assist the SOJ35 and SOJ3X Branch and Division Chiefs in developing tactical to operational CONOPs to enable communities of action to disrupt, dismantle, deny, and defeat those networks
  • Facilitate all phases of the F3EAD cycle through Preparation of the Environment (PE); Tagging, Tracking and Locating (TTL) efforts; IO; Law Enforcement operations; and Unconventional Warfare (UW) in support of Commander SOCPAC (COMSOCPAC) and Commander USINDOPACOM objectives
  • Categorize and assist in prioritizing requests for support, conduct near, mid, and longterm examination of problems
  • Apply a multidisciplinary approach while establishing and maintaining strong working relationships with integral members of relevant COI to directly support the application of SOF operational capabilities and facilitate desired effects
  • CONUS and OCONUS travel may be required


Job Requirements

  • Required Clearance: TS/SCI
  • Bachelor's Degree in any field or 15 years of military experience
  • Twelve (12) years of experience in multidiscipline intelligence operations supporting SOF at the tactical and operational levels
  • Seven (7) years of operational or tactical level military deployments/interagency team environment within the USINDOPACOM AOR that includes:
  • SOF focused Intelligence, Collections and Targeting Cycles and understanding of SOF core competencies, Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs), and operations, and PE and Advanced Special Operations Techniques (ASOT)
  • Routine use of analytic support tools common to the Intel Community and experience with DoD and USG IA plans, policies and planning processes and subsequent development of operations, actions and activities that operationalize campaign objectives
  • Six (6) years minimum experience within ASOT Level II and/or Military Source Operations (MSO) support production
  • Five (5) years of experience with conducting in person engagements with senior members of USG Agencies within CONUS, the National Capital Region and at overseas locations, to include presentation of operational concepts for approval by senior officials, offices, support cells and mission centers
  • Five (5) years of experience with DoD and USG IA plans, policies and planning processes and subsequent development of operations, actions and activities that operationalize campaign objectives
  • Three (3) years of experience with the conduct of assessments and the quantifying of performance and effectiveness measures
  • One (1) year experience with Global Controlled Operations Management System (GCOMS)
