Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide management with analysis of equipment, consumables, products and maintenance costs and associated profitability levels.
- Analyze and track overhead business units
- Maintain and prepare required monthly budgets working closely with Business Unit Management
- Assist with any related audits and general ledger functions
- Allocate internal rent and other cost allocations to regional projects
- Assist with capital budget and fixed asset maintenance
- Identify and recommend areas of potential cost savings
- Reconciliation of any related accounts or processes
- Conduct physical inventories and monitor any cycle count program
- Assist with month-end and year-end financial closings
- Develop tracking and reporting tools
- Process intercompany rebills
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to collaborate with a Team
- Computer literacy with advanced MS Excel proficiency
- Proven work experienceas a Cost Accountant, Cost Analyst, Accountant or similar role
- Effectively communicate with all levels of management
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Understanding of GAAP and accounting procedures
- Strong analytical skills
Preferred Education and Experience
- S. degree in Accounting or Finance
- Experience related to the construction industry a plus
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times
