Jewelry Specialist

We are currently seeking a Custom Orders Specialist to join the fastest growing jewelry company in the country. This job will be located in New York City and the position will be based in a fast-paced environment with multiple requests coming in on a daily basis.

Responsibilities

· Responsible for accurately submitting/verifying custom orders with vendors within a specified time-frame

· Oversee the Special/Custom Order Process start to finish

· Calculate and quote prices

· Interact with both the vendors and the customers on a regular basis

· Custom Order Specialist checks the status of orders, maintains quoted time frames, and handles any potential issues

Requirements

· Must have 1+ yrs jewelry industry experience

· Must have 1+ yrs of experience with custom jobs

· Must have basic understanding of placing CAD requests with designers, vendors and knowledge of reading CAD to get cost for pieces

· Must be able to pass knowledge assessment during interview process

· Excellent communication skills

· Knowledgeable in Excel

· Knowledgeable in Photoshop

· Ability to work well with a team of diverse personalities

· Knowledge of jewelry manufacturing a plus

· Must be able to travel to shows a minimum of three times per year

· Must Live in New York City

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
