Job Description:
We are searching for a CAD Jewelry Designer who will act as a vital link between our sales team and customers, facilitating the creation of bespoke jewelry pieces, including rings, bracelets, and necklaces. The successful candidate will also contribute to the design and in-house production of exclusive floor pieces. This role demands involvement in the entire project lifecycle—from the spark of ideation through design, customer approval, manufacturing, and delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Design detailed and precise CAD models for custom jewelry based on client consultations, sketches, and conceptualizations.
- Must be comfortable working in a high-end jewelry setting and interacting with customers
- Serve as a critical intermediary between the sales team and customers, ensuring design concepts meet customer expectations and quality standards.
- Contribute to creating unique floor pieces, participating in design and manufacturing processes.
- Manage the entire lifecycle of jewelry projects, ensuring smooth transitions from ideation to design, approval, manufacturing, and delivery.
- Employ Rhino 3D and design trends to develop innovative jewelry designs.
- Coordinate with production teams to resolve manufacturing challenges, ensuring the final product meets the initial design specifications.
- Participate in quality control processes to guarantee the excellence of the finished product.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience as a Jewelry CAD Designer, evidenced by a strong portfolio of custom and proprietary jewelry designs.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as Rhino (RhinoGold preferred)
- Deep understanding of jewelry manufacturing processes and materials.
- Exceptional communication skills to effectively liaise between sales, customers, and manufacturing teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
- A meticulous eye for detail and a fervent passion for jewelry design.
