Java/MUMPS Developer

We are currently looking for a Sr. Java/MUMPS Developer to work remotely on a Federal Healthcare program.
Responsibilities:

• Solve problems with a complete end-to-end solution in a fast-paced, Agile environment.
• Diagnose and fix issues affecting VistA products
• Identify and implement system improvements, and mentor teammates.
• Build and repair health and clinical applications using Agile life cycle development
• Analyze the user needs and the environment to make sure the solution you’re developing considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements.

Qualifications:

• 15 years of experience with Java software development
• 10 years of experience with MUMPS software development
• Experience with WebLogic environments
• Experience with working in VistA environments
• Knowledge of software development
• Knowledge of design or architectural patterns
• Knowledge of architecture styles and APIs
• Ability to understand front-end users' requirements
• Ability to communicate with front-end users to replicate their issues
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
• Associate or Bachelor Degree in Computer Science field
• Knowledge of Agile frameworks
• SAFe Certifications
