In this pivotal role, you'll be tasked with developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting GHOSTGEM's software suite of applications, which includes JEDIPOWER and potentially future capabilities to address evolving mission needs. Your software development responsibilities will encompass implementation, testing, and integration with other Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) and Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) products, packages, and libraries.
Required Skills
- Experience using the Linux CLI
- Scripting using Bash/Python
- Developing with Java in a Linux environment
- Experience with the Spring Framework including Spring Boot, Spring Data and Spring Integration
- Experience with NoSQL databases including MongoDB
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and containerd
- Experience with Source Control Systems such as Git
- Familiar with Apache NiFi canvas to process and distribute data
- Familiar with Messaging Frameworks such as RabbitMQ and Kafka
- Familiar with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools such as GitLab CI and Jenkins
Desired Skills
- Familiar with container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes
- Familiar with IaC principles, concepts, and tools including Ansible
- Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite including Jira and Confluence
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
- (7) years’ experience as a Software Engineer
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline
