SalaryOversee the commercial janitorial department for some of our downtown Buffalo locations working with the Director of Janitorial to plan, direct and coordinate the cleaning operations of the property. All locations are within a few blocks and can easily be walked to so a vehicle is not necessary. Responsible for ensuring and improving the performance and efficiency of the staff.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
- Must be thoroughly cognizant of janitorial cleaner job description and specifications. The objective is to achieve the neat and orderly appearance of a professional office building.
- Responsible for daily inspection of building and reporting all maintenance and janitorial deficiencies.
- Responsible for training all employees under your supervision, inspecting and supervising their work
RESPONSIBILITIES: (To include but not limited to)
- Interact Daily with the Tenants.
- Inspect vacant space monthly to ensure it is in proper condition to show perspective Tenants.
Employee Supervision:
- Responsible for training, supervising, motivating and interacting with each employee.
- Must make random spot inspections daily throughout your whole shift. These inspections should be thorough and professional.
- Ensure that each employee is performing his or her job specification in a professional and timely manner.
- When conducting inspections, effort and hard work should be commended but performance and results of their work should be the prevalent grading tool.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
