SalaryJob Description: We are currently seeking dedicated and reliable individuals to join our team as Janitorial Staff. As a janitor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for our employees and visitors. Your attention to detail and strong work ethic will contribute to the overall success of our organization.
Hours: Monday through Friday 6:00pm-10:00pm
Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning duties, including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting.
- Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste in designated areas.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenishing supplies as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness in common areas, such as break rooms, conference rooms, and hallways.
- Monitor and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Ensure that cleaning equipment and supplies are properly utilized and stored.
- Follow established procedures for handling and disposing of hazardous materials.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in janitorial or custodial work is preferred, but not required. We are willing to train motivated individuals.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and a thorough approach to cleaning.
- Physical stamina to handle repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if necessary.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Good verbal communication skills to interact with coworkers and respond to basic inquiries.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
