Responsibilities and Duties
The duties of a Janitor include but are not limited to the following responsibilities and other job assignments:
- Clean and replenish restrooms
- Empty trash
- Clean offices and common areas
- Clean interior and exterior floors
- Stack Pallets
- Responsibilities include keeping the building and grounds neat, clean, free from clutter and safe from hazards
- Manage routine upkeep of exterior areas, green space (mowing, weed eating) and parking lot
- Handle emergency cleaning and upkeep requests
- Performs daily general housekeeping and janitorial tasks to keepshopspaces clean and orderly
- Washes and cleans heavy equipment
- Safely operates high-powered pressure washing system
- Wear PPE at all times safety shoes, gloves, and eye protection
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and other necessities
- Perform minor maintenance duties
- Other related duties as assigned
Physical Requirements
- Requires frequent walking, twisting, bending,kneeling,reaching, standing, and stooping
- Requires lifting/lowering, carrying, pushing, or pulling of various items of up to 50 lbs.
- Requires working in an environment with frequently changing temperatures.

- Must be able to follow written and verbal directions
- Organization, attention to detail, inventory control skills and teamwork

- Experience safely operating in a shop environment
