Janitorial & Maintenance Associate ( Manufacturing )

The Janitor & Maintenanceassociate will maintain the cleanliness our facility which will include all departments, common areas, restrooms and work with maintenance tasks in the shop.

Work Schedule – Tuesday to Saturday 6 am to 2:30 pm (Subject to change if Necessary)

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness of the facility areas including all common areas, offices, and restrooms (mop, sweep, strip/wax/buff floors, dust, vacuum and garbage removal).
• Ensure that all bathrooms are monitored for cleanliness throughout the day.
• Keep inventory of janitorial supplies.
• General upkeep of the buildings, trash rooms and grounds.
• Maintain all equipment and supplies in proper condition.
• Work part of the day with Maintenance Department doing tasks in the shop.
• You may have to use a ladder to clean certain areas.
• Special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• 5 years prior janitor, cleaner, or porter experience in manufacturing environment.
• Must be reliable and have experience working with cleaning chemicals.
• Must be a team player and be able to work with little supervision.
• Excellent time management skills and work ethic needed.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and be able to stand for an 8 hour shift.
• Light maintenance knowledge is a plus.
• Bilingual Spanish is required.
