JANITORIAL FLOORS, CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
GREAT WORK OPPORTUNITY
CUSTODIAN / FLOORS & MAINTENANCE (East Orange)
This position is approximately 25 hours weekly.
(Monday - Friday) 12:30pm - 6:00pm
High Volume Outpatient Mental Health Social Service agency, located in East Orange looking for a reliable individual to join our team for cleaning, maintenance and routine floor care.
Duties include performing any combination of following:
COMPREHENSIVE KNOWLEDGE OF STRIPPING, SEALING AND FLOOR POLISHING AND REFINISHING A MUST.

• Sweep, mop, strip, scrub, strip, wax, buff and polish floors with floor machines.
• Mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming of floors and stairs.
• Clean, mop and disinfect restroom facilities.
• Clean and sanitize all areas of office building.
• Restock supplies in bathrooms, storage and common areas.
• Empty all trash cans and replace liners, clean and sanitize receptacles as necessary.
• Dusting and cleaning offices.
• Moving of furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed.
• Facility maintenance & minor repairs as needed.
• Painting & spackling as needed.
• Maintain janitor closets in a clean, organized and safe manner.
• Maintain janitorial equipment in a clean, safe and operable condition.
• Landscaping & snow removal as needed.
• Monitor building security and safety and follow lockup procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Prior Custodial or Janitorial experience REQUIRED.
Must have Valid drivers license with good driving record.
Must be able to lift and move at least 50 lbs.
Must be a Motivated self starter who can work independently with a minimum supervision.
Must be well organized, have a strong attention to detail and able to prioritize duties.
As a condition of employment, successful job applicants will be required to complete a background investigation, which will include a pre-employment drug screening and criminal check as per State regulations.
