Iv Pharmacist

MedWiz Pharmacy is a leading pharmacy and medical equipment provider to the long-term care community. We are currently seeking a IV PHARMACIST to work in our busy Long Term Care Pharmacy.

As a IV pharmacist at MedWiz, you will fill orders with accuracy, check technician-prepared products before release, maintain security of pharmacy and controlled substances, enter orders and patient information with accuracy, aid in the training of new staff, update the Director about the daily activities of the pharmacy, and aid the Director in maintaining the pharmacy. We are looking for a pharmacist with knowledge and experience reading Rx orders, filling of prescriptions, and adjudicating claims.

Requirements:
- 1 year experience working as a Home infusion/ IV required
- Experience in FRAMEWORK system a definite plus
- Knowledge of processing medication orders
- Pharmacy billing and claim adjudication
- Medication names, and medical terminology
- Good communication and phone skills
- Must be accurate, detail oriented, and reliable
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and meet deadlines

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $41.67 - $73.38 per hour
