We are seeking a highly motivated Systems Manager to join the IT leadership team.
This position is 100% remote and out-of-state candidates will be considered.
The ITS Systems Manager is responsible for all aspects of data management within the primary Revenue Cycle product suite (athenaHealth IDX) and related core products. The individual in this position will ensure the ongoing availability, performance, sustainability, and maintainability of all operational tasks. The Systems Manager will serve as the Product Custodian to the athenaIDX product, oversee data trafficking, and manage the team of Systems Analysts to ensure quality deliverables, secured data and process efficiencies.
The ITS Systems Manager will:
- Develop and maintain the athenaIDX Roadmap to ensure alignment with business strategies and direction.
- Serve as the ITS Product Custodian to direct critical solutions in sustaining and maintaining the athenaIDX product.
- Lead the ITS Systems Analyst team in the successful delivery of quality support for our CU Medicine partners.
- Communicate job expectations, monitor results, and direct/mentor efforts within Systems Analyst team.
- Create and maintain a trusted and transparent relationship with our CU Medicine Business, ITS and affiliate leadership through active participation and partnerships.
- Lead the required daily, weekly, monthly, and month-end data management processes.
- Develop automated processes and improve upon dashboards, process, documentation, and product.
- Ensure documentation is current and maintained in a centralized location.
- Oversee all IDX based requests using CU Medicine standards of governance for athenaIDX projects and request deliverables; ensuring product and business requirements are gathered, designed and implemented with business and ITS sustainability success.
- Serve as an IDX and process Subject Matter expert for the organization.
- Represent ITS in various IDX discussions as requested
- Perform other duties and assist with special projects as assigned.
This position requires contact with protected health information during the course of performing job responsibilities.
Requires 15+ years of ITS experience with extensive work within the AthenaIDX product. 5+ years ITS Management experience or comparable consulting leadership expertise is highly preferred. Bachelor’s degree in information systems or related field is a plus. The ideal candidate will possess broad knowledge and experience in ITS applications and technologies, demonstrate capability for problem solving and decision making with sound judgment and assertiveness. Must be innovative, strategic, and well-versed in critical thinking. Excellent coordination/planning skills, with strict attention to detail is required. The ability to execute on a vision; and understand, synthesize, summarize, and present complex technical information to members of CU Medicine ITS and business is key. Must successfully engage at all levels of the business and translate complex business needs into manageable requirements.
