About the IT Academy
JM Family's IT Academy equips new associates with the essential toolsets and mindset required to smoothly transition from a college degree program into the dynamic realm of business technology. While admission to the IT Academy is competitive and not guaranteed, this program offers paid entry-level positions with promising avenues for career development.
Launched in 2021 at our Deerfield headquarters, JM Family's IT Academy was designed to offer recent college graduates a structured pathway of learning and immersive rotational experiences, ensuring they are well-prepared to become valuable assets in our work environment.
Responsibilities:
Within this program, you'll obtain a comprehensive skill set encompassing technical, professional, interpersonal, and business competencies through a combination of demanding assignments, structured training, and supportive mentorship. Your journey will involve rotations across diverse business lines, affording you exposure to a broad spectrum of technologies.
Upon completing the program, you will emerge well-prepared with the knowledge and skills needed to step into entry-level positions within our ITS team.
Qualifications:

• Must be within one year of completion of your bachelor's degree before starting the program
• Degrees must be either in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Security Engineering
• Experience with .NET programming
• Hands-on experience with PowerScript, PowerShell and HTML is a plus
• Familiarity to cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and other cloud frameworks
• Exposure to the data space such as Python and Microsoft Power BI
