Requirements:
- BS in Computer engineering, Electrical Engineering, IT infrastructure, or Cyber Security (OR equivalent combination of work experience, training, and related education)
- Strong problem-solving and research abilities
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team to design, develop, and modify software control systems
- High proficiency with Windows 365 product family
- High Proficiency with Windows System Administration. (This includes but is not limited to Microsoft Windows Server 2012 – 2022, Windows XP – Windows 11)
- Strong networking skills. Candidate should be familiar with networking best practices and be versed in standard ports and services relevant to OT networks
- Experience with virtualization and Hypervisor configuration, specifically ESXi 6.2+
- Follow security best practices and company configuration guidance
- Ability to support critical system infrastructure after hours, nights, and weekends
- Willingness for 25% travel in Colorado (occasionally Wyoming).
- Must have a valid unrestricted Driver's License.
Desired skills:
- Proficiency in advanced analysis, installation, administration, and troubleshooting of a data network.
- Responsible for maintaining supporting and optimizing key functional areas, particularly OT network and server infrastructure
- Knowledge of Control System (OT environment) architecture
- High Proficiency with Windows System Administration, setting up Active Directory, Group Policy, configuring DNS, configuring RDS, PowerShell scripting, custom VBA etc.
- Proficiency in VMware ESXI with a strong understanding of virtualized networking
- Carry one or more of the following certifications (CCNA, Security+, GICSP, Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate Certification, VCP-DCV ) or willingness to complete within 120 days of start date
- Server Administration such as:
- Deploy, maintain, enhance and troubleshoot systems, services, configurations, roles and core applications.
- Install, Secure, Maintain, Document and retire virtual and physical servers
- Maintain and perform server backups and recovery.
- Configure remote monitoring and notifications.
Nice to haves:
- Strong understanding of PLC wiring and programming. Candidate should understand syncing vs. sourcing and have high proficiency working with 4-20mA analog loops
- Ability to read and modify electrical schematics. Basic familiarity with NEC standards.
- Familiarity with calibrating and programming instruments for pressure, level and flow
- Fluency in Ladder Logic, Structured Text, Function Block, etc.
- High Proficiency with SCADA/HMI programming platforms such as iFix, Wonderware, Factory Talk, Ignition and RedLion, Visu+
- Understanding the design and topology of complex hybrid telemetry systems utilizing one or all of the following frequency ranges UHF, VHF, Licensed, and ISM 900 and IEC 802.11xx is a huge plus
- Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server Environment is a plus
