As a host, you'll be the conductor of the orchestra that is service. You are the first impression of the restaurant and set the tone for guests' experiences. You will greet and seat guests and assist with maintaining the floor. Your attention to detail, great attitude, and communication skills are critically important. You are also the last note of the experience, and will wish guests farewell and invite them to come back. This position pays an hourly wage plus tips.
Responsibilities:
- Greet all guests with a smile upon arrival
- Seat guests and accommodate special requests
- Manage the waitlist: record guest names and number in party
- Inspect tables for proper presentation and completeness
- Assist with preparing tables for guests and restaurant cleanliness
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
