Job Description
The Tier 3, Systems Administrator is responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software. They will lead and/or participate in technical research and development to enable continual innovation within the operations environment and ensure all high-level escalation items are completed. Tier 3 resources will ensure that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational strategies.
THE SCOPE OF ACTIVITES INCLUDES:
- Subject Matter Expertise in system administration Windows workstations/servers/OS, Networks and Storage/Backup in classified program
- Subject Matter Expertise in system administration in classified environments
- Support for Windows workstations/servers/OS, Networks and Storage/Backup in classified program
- Active Directory administration IE user/computer/security group management
- Expert Group/local policy administration
- System audit finding follow-up/remediation escalation
- Advanced troubleshooting of physical and virtual systems and issue remediation
- Adaptability of application troubleshooting and issue remediation
- Small projects and process improvements
- Monitor and complete all escalations from L1 and L2 resources
-Familiarity with Linux Systems
- Knowledgeable with PowerShell
-Skilled in remote virtualization access
-Skilled in virtualization technologies I.E. VMWare Horizon 8, vSphere 7, ESXi and VROPS
-Need to support outages on weekends or during a P1.
-Familiarity with security applications and other reporting tools
-Must be able to work 100% onsite in Evendale
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
-VCP Certification
-ITIL Certification
-Familiarity with security applications and other reporting tools
-Domain Admin Experience
We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary range of $80,000 to $95,000. Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
