Provide support to end users in the application of technology within the enterprise. Includes working the help desk, responding to work orders, and maintaining hardware
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Information Technology Support Technician

• Diagnose hardware and software problems.
• On-call on a rotating weekly basis, as needed.
• Train facility staff.
• Using IT work order system to document, prioritize, and track requests.
• Install/configure new computers and telephones.
• Repair and upgrade PC hardware and software.
• Troubleshoot printers, scanners, copiers.
• Maintain inventory of equipment and supplies.
• Assist in the day to day operation of back-up systems including rotation of backup tapes.
• Build and install cables.
• Run plant cabling.
• Research, learn and evaluate new software.
• Document systems.
• Other duties as required

Qualifications
Education/Certification: Industry certifications (i.e. A +, Network+, Microsoft Servers).
Experience: 1-2 years in related field.
Equipment/Technology: Microsoft Technologies (Server/Client)
Language/Communication: Communication skills using speech and writing.
Mathematical Skills: Basic
Mental Capabilities: Strong problem solving.
Interpersonal: Ability to interact with all personality types.
Performance: Ability to systematically troubleshoot complex problems.
