We are looking for an IT Support Specialist who will be the primary person responsible for technical and application support. This is role functions as tier one and two support triaging and remediating components, as well as participating in projects. Job Summary:
- Provide support for Microsoft Office 365 Business Premium applications and services.
- Provide support for line of business applications like Prophet 21 (ERP) and Tour de Force (CRM).
- Monitor and correct failed backups, sales order imports and failed automated jobs.
- Build and manage Windows and Mac desktops and laptops in accordance with company standards.
- Update and maintain hardware inventory and assist in upgrading and maintaining of systems.
- Manage Windows servers, file shares, backups, task automations, and plans for disaster recovery.
- Manage local and Azure Active Directory user accounts, passwords, and access to local resource.
- Set up work areas, including docking stations, monitors, and printers for new employees.
- Maintain hosted phone system and voicemail, to include add/remove employees.
- Develop and maintain documentation, policies, and procedures.
- This position requires heavy interaction with users through all forms of communication.
- Other responsibilities and duties as assigned.
Education & Experience:
- Associate degree, Bachelor’s preferred in IT or related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience.
- Intermediate experience in Microsoft’s suite of products, including Office 365, Windows Server 2016, Windows 10, Exchange, and Active Directory.
- Experience in Prophet 21, Tour de Force, and VMWare vSphere administration is a bonus.
- Knowledge of Windows AD, Group Policy, permissions, and group administration.
