It Support / Network Security Analyst

Position Summary:
The IT Support/Network Security Analyst is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the IT infrastructure, providing exceptional technical support to end-users, and ensuring the security of the network. This role demands a blend of technical skills in troubleshooting, system administration, and Network Security, with a primary focus on IT support (70%) and a secondary focus on Network Security (30%).
IT Support (70%) Key Responsibilities:

• Provide first and second-level support for hardware, software, and network issues.
• Respond to and resolve technical issues in a timely manner via phone, email, or in-person.
• Document support requests, solutions, and follow-up activities in the ticketing system.
• Perform routine maintenance and updates on desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices.
• Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and software applications.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
• Assist in the procurement and inventory management of IT assets.
• Ensure proper disposal and recycling of outdated equipment.
• Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate and resolve complex issues.

• Monitor network activity for potential security breaches and vulnerabilities.
• Investigate and respond to security incidents, escalating, as necessary.
• Assist in the development and enforcement of Network Security policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with security standards and regulations.
• Manage and maintain firewalls, antivirus, and intrusion detection systems.
• Perform regular security audits and risk assessments.
• Conduct vulnerability scans and implement necessary patches and updates.
• Keep abreast of emerging security threats and technologies.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT support or a similar role.
• At least 1 year of experience in Network Security or related functions.
