Work Responsibilities:
Configure and maintain Microsoft 365 tools, including but not limited to Intune and Defender.
Monitor and optimize configurations to ensure security, performance, and compliance
Provide comprehensive support for remote devices, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues, configuring devices, and ensuring connectivity
Assist employees clients in utilizing Microsoft Office 365 applications, troubleshoot issues, and provide guidance on best practices for productivity and collaboration
Act as the first point of contact for employees seeking technical assistance.
Provide timely resolution of IT-related issues through effective troubleshooting and problem-solving
Develop and manage a comprehensive ticketing system to track and prioritize IT support requests.
Educate end-users on utilizing IT resources efficiently, especially Microsoft Office 365 tools, to enhance their productivity
Conduct training sessions for employees on the proper use of IT tools and adherence to security protocols.
Communicate IT-related updates and changes to employees as needed.
Maintain Inventory for all IT equipment, apply necessary patches, and generate monthly reports for leadership
Requirements:
Currently enrolled as a 3rd or 4th year student to receive Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or recently graduated
A strong understanding of Microsoft Office 365 applications, including but not limited to Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams
Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues on remote devices Knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems is a plus.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information in a user-friendly manner
A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring client satisfaction
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to address technical issues efficiently
Ability to work effectively within a team and collaborate with colleagues
Preferred Qualifications:
2+years of IT Help Desk Experience: Demonstrated experience in providing technical support and assistance to end-users, particularly in remote device management and Microsoft Office 365 applications
Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft 365 Fundamentals)
Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 suite, particularly Intune and Defender.
Familiarity with IT security principles and best practices.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
