Summit Medical Group has an opening for an IT Support Analyst. Candidate is responsible for providing customer support and IT problem solving for the enterprise including clerical support and known problem solving for GPMS, workstations, printers, handheld devices, Microsoft Office and Outlook E-mail, assists in managing the Exchange database, and provides general ongoing user support as related to other software products. This is a Full time opportunity.
Responsibilities: (List does not include all duties assigned)
- Responsible for the function, performance, and quality of the IT Support Line process.
- Answer calls to the IT Support line and distribute work orders to appropriate team as necessary.
- Respond to IT Support and work orders email groups. Distribute work orders created to appropriate teams.
- Troubleshoot IT issues within Level 1 parameters and ability level.
- Answer calls for the Follow My Health Patient Portal line and either help resolve the issue or transfer them to the Support line.
- Complete all other duties, special projects as assigned.
- Maintains professional competency through research, study, and continuing education programs as provided.
- Contributes to a positive work climate and the overall team effort of the department and organization.
- Adheres to all elements of the established corporate compliance plan.
- Maintains strictest confidentiality both internally and externally.
- Actively participates in site-level Quality Improvement Activities. Each employee will contribute to the continual evaluation site performance as well as the implementation and measurement of improvement activities that increase the quality of care provided to patients.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
- Associates degree in Computer Science or other related area from an accredited college or university with 2 years experience; or equivalent education / experience in the computer science field.
- Minimum equivalent experience is defined as 4 years experience in the field of IT.
- Two years experience with relevant hardware (personal computers, printers, etc.) and software applications, to include Windows, MS Office, Exchange.
- Health Care experience a plus
- GPMS experience a plus
CERTIFICATION/LICENSE:
- A+ certification a plus.
- Microsoft certifications a plus
