It Support Analyst

This role will assist the end user with technical support and work on other projects as assigned. This position will report to our Central Office location in Batesville, IN daily.
Essential Functions:

• Deliver excellent customer service to all end-users with ownership and follow through.
• Maintain the computer network ensuring continuous operation. This includes network servers, work stations, copiers and printers.
• Provide technical assistance and basic training to team members.
• Maintenance user accounts.
• Manage the company telephone system (land line and cell phone).
• Support end users via phone and remote support tools.
• Travel to store locations to install/fix/upgrade equipment.
• Install, manage and monitor security equipment.
• Ensure all computers have up to date security software.
• Effectively manage time to ensure calls and help desk tickets are responded to in a timely manner.
• Maintain systems: establish and manage user accounts, distribution lists, on boarding and off boarding users, and security controls.
• Perform daily backup of critical data and coordinate the offsite storage of the backup.
• Research and submit ideas for new technology as necessary to meet the needs of the company.
• Assist with other IT projects as needed.
• Ensure a safe working environment. Maintain situational awareness, identify and rectify any safety issues or violations of law or company policy.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Other duties assigned as necessary.

Supervisory Responsibility: This position does not manage any team members.
Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is located indoors. Occasional travel to store locations. The noise level in the work environment is usually low.

The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking throughout the day.
• Must be able to lift up to 10 lbs at times.
• Fine motor skills needed to fix equipment.
• Able to drive to store locations as needed.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position, scheduled 40 hours/week.
Required Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3+ years of experience in IT support preferred
• Understanding of Microsoft AD and related products
