Job Summary
The Help Desk Technician will support all desktop hardware and software to ensure maximum uptime and serve as first point of contact on all IT related matters for the office and job sites. The qualified candidate must manage, maintain, and configure all computer systems solving hardware and software failures. Technical support for common desktop related issues as well as mobile devices. Provide patients and training to employees needing technical understanding and assistance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for being the first point of contact for technical support requests.
- Ability to effectively communicate with the customer using problem-solving techniques and troubleshooting.
- Identify and suggest support needs and improvements.
- Follow-up and follow through with all customer needs.
- Communicate with internal and external clients in a polite and professional manner.
- Manage and monitor the deployment\install of all software, hardware, mobile devices, and other IT equipment.
- Follow all Trautman & Shreve and EMCOR policies and procedures.
- Record and log all service desk requests.
- Other duties as may be assigned.
Job Specifications: -
- Proven experience as a help desk technician.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, organize and prioritize work assignments.
- Proactive can-do attitude and work ethic.
- Optimistic with a focus on resolution rather than the immediate problem.
Preferred Technical Experience
- Desktop Imaging
- OS install and computer rebuild
- Windows Update Services
- iPhone, iPad, and Android Support
- Desktop management lifecycle
- Application install\uninstall maintenance and support
- Documentation and documentation control
- Willing to create training materials
- Microsoft Office and Office 365 Support
- Basic Network LAN and WAN concepts
- Computer security concepts and best practices
Accountability and Measurement
- Reports to IT Manager.

Compensation Range: Minimum $26.00 per hour to maximum $29.00 per hour
Other Compensation: position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus
