What’s the Role?
An IT Supervisor II’s primary role is to supervise up to 15 professional and technical employees in the development, testing, and implementation of multiple complex software applications / systems. Provides expert line of business application / technology advice and monitors effective use of technology. Manages vendor escalations, contracts, and strategic relationships, as well as the alignment of products to business needs. Ensures continuity of application services in the event of system failures or other disruptions and maintains a Disaster Recovery Plan.

  • Supervises the design, development, testing, and deployment of custom and commercial applications.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams including cyber security, enterprise architecture, and infrastructure services, to ensure alignment with organizational technical standards and direction.
  • Monitors project timelines, budgets, and resources and adjust workloads accordingly.
  • Liaise with network administrators, server administrators, enterprise architects, cyber security analysts, external systems integrators, and software developers to assist with quality assurance, program logic, and technology alignment.
  • Implements and oversees security protocols for applications, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Provides technical leadership to project managers and programmers working on development project teams.

Minimum Qualifications

What do you need:
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major inComputer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering, or a closely related field.
  • At least 6 years’ experience in IT and Application Development with 3 years Supervisory experience in IT.

  • AWS Certification.
  • Professional Scrum Master Certification.
  • Considerable knowledge of various software capabilities, operations, and applications.

Overview of Employee Benefits:

  • Comprehensive benefits package that includes medical,prescription, dental, vision, short and long-term disability insurance, life and accidental death and dismemberment insurance for all eligible employees, with minimal employee cost.
